Degen Dobermans is Charles Degen’s site about his Dobermans. This page explains the little data we collect and why.
Email list
- What we collect: the email address you type into the signup form, plus the date you signed up.
- Why: a few notes a month — pack news, new photos, and merch announcements. Nothing else.
- Where it lives: in private storage on our hosting provider, Vercel. It is not public and is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers.
- Leaving: every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also email woof@degendobermans.com and we will delete your address.
- Our signup form uses a hidden anti-spam field and basic rate limiting. It does not set cookies.
Orders
When merch is for sale, checkout happens on a page hosted by Stripe. Card numbers are collected by Stripe, not by this site. Stripe tells us the order completed (item, quantity, email, shipping address, and payment status) so we can fulfill it and fix anything that goes wrong. We do not store card numbers.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not store your IP address. Visitors are counted through an anonymous hash that resets every day.
Hosting, fonts and links
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. Display type loads from Google Fonts. Body text uses the font already on your device. Links to Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, WhatsApp, and Telegram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Kids
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their email addresses.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions: woof@degendobermans.com.
